Dr. Terence A. Trinka combines expertise as an Optometric Doctor, Certified Nutritionist, and Board Certified Naturopathic Physician. He pursued his academic journey at the University of Illinois and the Illinois College of Optometry due to his fascination with light, color, and visual perception. Originally from the Greater Chicago Area and still residing there, Dr. Trinka has dedicated 29 years to practicing optometry, with a special focus on nutrition and behavioral optometry.
Although he has had many memorable patient encounters, he is always ready to share some of his favorite stories upon request. Outside of work, Dr. Trinka is an avid outdoorsman and musician. He enjoys horseback riding, hiking, skiing, and playing the guitar. He also values spending quality time with his wife and their three grown children, cherishing their moments together.
